CG> Just my $0.02 :) Well, I couldn't get Warp3 to install on my P166MMX when I bought it, so I bought a copy of Warp4 the same day... the only thing I found about Warp3 to be better is it was faster on the 386dx33 w/ 8megs than Warp4 is, but even then Warp4 is liveable on the 386 considering it's just providing extra HDD space to the pentium. Perhaps it's a problem with your P90, especially if Win don't run too well on it either? All I know is Warp4 has been a Godsend for me... =) Vincent Danen (vdanen@tdmbbs.ml.org) . Warp 4 with FP 5 runs here much better than I ever had Warp 3 run. This includes DOS apps as well. My BBS is still DOS real mode and runs great. I toss mail with a DOS tosser and can't read the information on the screen because it scrolls so fast. I recently switched the BBS to run under OS/2 Warp v3. I have the BBS running ok but the major problem I'm having is that external doors run very slow. I switched the SIO kludge setting to ON but that didn't solve the problem. I locked the com ports at 57600 with SIO and run the SIO XV00 fossil drive for DOS session. SH> Is it available anywhere, Not available, it was written specifically for my BBS. SH> and what software does it work with? As written, it only works with OPUS barefoot, and it's *.msg base. There probably aren't 40 people on earth still using this old bird, and fewer than that running barefoot. It's _one_ of the reasons I haven't (yet) switched to an OS/2 based BBS. I also try not to post the report in any echo that hasn't asked for it, and generally manually remove the report before it gets mailed to this conference for that reason. I must have overlooked it this time somehow, so my apologies to the moderator here. The report is posted semi-automatically so I have a chance to prevent it from being auto-posted if I remove it from the list each month. Anyway, to generate this report from a database style message base would require a re-write of the REXX script, so the script is useless to most sysops, even if I made it public. It does demonstate the power of REXX though, it is not a simple script. Try SIO_Idle_Sensitivity=100 and then experiment from that as a starting point. You might also want to try the OS2DOSBBS echo where such things are actually the topic. Most folks in here (myself included) run native OS/2 BBS's.
