One of more are programers, one or more are Gama Sites, and one was a Registration site a few years ago. If they can't make it work, stop droping Desc fileds, ect and stop droping over 1/2 of my taged filebone areas, I'm not going to touch it, although I did offer to Gama Site it this year, in hopes of getting it fixed once and for all. Even in todays Filebone feed, direct from a Gama site, who also hatched the file in question. I got a no desction avalable from a ZC, who is a Gama Site, and who hatched the file with no desction avalable for his NetList. Way to go, Allfix, you really pick winners to Gama Test your products, and Fido Picks Winners to feed the Filebone. Another Allfix feed, also screwed up todays feed, and he's a professional programmer of over 30 years and works in a ISO 9002 code site. By by passing the Filebone in the past I IDed the Faulty Filebone Allfix system. That is the NEC and Allfix Gama and Beta co-ordinators job to monitor the sites, their feeds, not mine. All in all, its rather speaks poorly of Allfix, and their North American I'm sticking with my DOS TICK 2.10 on this OS/2 Box, untill someone creats an OS/2 product that stops screwing up, and loosing taged areas, choping descriptions, and loosing either the .TIC or file. I've been victive off all three since Allfix came into me filebone feed links five or so years ago. I still remain victim at this mornings feed. Thanks AllFix. Thats how I see it today. Thats how I seen it last year. Thats how I seen it in the years prior. --- FLAME v1.1 * Origin: 416 604-1221, free dialup access to e-Mail (1:2424/242) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 251 OS2 BBS Ref: EFC00002 Date: 11/07/97 From: MARK STORM Time: 08:37am \/To: JIM BAXTER (Read 0 times) Subj: OS/2 BBS options Jim Baxter wrote in a message to Preston Smith: JB> on 11-04-97, Preston Smith said to Jim Baxter: JB> iniquity/2 v1.00 a26 is out.. it's quite nice.. i'm in the midst of JB> setting it up myself.. ->And where can one find a demo of it? A sad day for sysops. I first noticed that the BBS support was incomplete on the latest version of Hobbes OS/2 and their tech support folks were unclear about why. But they called me back today to say that BBS support was being droppped on all their CDROMs "unless there is an overwhelming response." If you want to encourage them to restore BBS support, send a message to support@cdrom.com. Or cancel your subscriptions and tell them why. Or both.
