I'm not saying that's the case, but it could be. What do you have on the parameter line in Adept's settings? I think the problem could be other end, not sure. I can't imagine why you'd get that "*" message. If you dialed the corect country code and the phone number below (I don't know how it's done from another country, so I'm guessing), you should not have received anything along the lines of a recorded message. If you can let me know when this happened, I can check the logs to see what was going on at that time, but I'm positive that that voice message did not originate at my site. If I register BBBS/2 I'll probably go for the 5 node version at approx $100US. I'll have to admit, the appeal of purchasing a BBS system that is Internet, LAN and TCP/IP ready and that has native versions for OS/2 and NT and Unix (among many others) is very attractive to me. In todays world where one can never be 100 percent certain what operating system they'll be running in a few years, the insurance of a multiple platform purchase is very reassuring.
