You said: PS> Running an ASUS PCI-V264CT video card with 2 megs - This is a Mach PS> 64 equivalent. Are you using specific drivers for that card, or are you just running stock vga mode? The latter will be processor-hungry. Installing current drivers so that Warp can take advantage of the graphics accellerator will definately give you a speed boost, assuming you haven't already done that. You might also check your bios setup regarding your IDE drives. Most newer drives support block read/write operations, and most newer bioses will use it. This can also give you a boost. Best place to start is by letting the bios decide which pio mode and block mode values to use. Many have an "automatic" setting that will let the bios query the drive and set it accordingly. -dw --- * Origin: No Soap Radio, Nashville, TN - 615-872-8999 - (1:116/116) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 251 OS2 BBS Ref: EB100009 Date: 06/30/97 From: DANNY WALTERS Time: 12:46am \/To: STEVE HAYES (Read 0 times) Subj: Watergate & Squish You said: SH> Little did I know... only now does everyone tell me that Squish is SH> full of bugs!
