No Idea will go [...] "One thing" that I probably never will do is that I never will be probably able to buy the BBS software, unless the price for it is real small. Maximus/2 is free for non-commercial use so I am using it. AdeptXBBS is ABSOLUTELY free, so I will use it in case it becomes real much better than other OS/2 BBS software. See the point, I don't like to be a "customer" =) (no offence of course) Greg, still, the way I would love BBS to act is to let the sysop write his own chat system in _powerful_ built-in script language, like Mex in Maximus 3. If not lack of IPC functions in Maximus MEX/Mecca, I wouldn't bring up that message about lame multinode chat, allowing users to enter CB channels, so, that the users when paged, think they gotta enter a CB channel #, where is a paging node... So if users ever want to chat, it doesn't mean that they will finally meet in CB channel or private chat in Maximus... Believe me, this sucks. I would like something, like: [for private chat]: You are being paged by John Doe at node 4. Answer page? [Yes/No] _ [for public chat]: [John Doe] hello all [Philip Morris] hello John, how goes? /me is doing fine * John Doe is doing fine [John Doe] Philip, lemme invite Shadow Caster here ok? /invite Shadow Caster * Inviting Shadow Caster to channel blabla ... * Shadow Caster joins channel blabla [Philip Morris] Hello Shadow Caster [Shadow Caster] Hi all THAT is what i would like to see..
