I've found that for some reason BinkleyTerm (can't remember which version...I think it was 2.56 or 2.59) would close the window after shelling when in a windowed session, but not in a full-screen session. (This was back in August that I last had this problem, running under OS/2 2.1.) I am now running under Warp, and no longer having the problem, using Binkley 2.59. Also, the NEC really does not run > I don't know about others, but I have found the NEC 7-disk changer to work > flawlessly under a Dos/Lantastic/Ezycom multinode world. Can you give some more details on this 7-disk changer? i.e., how are the drives accessed? Do they each have their own drive letter? Is it a SCSI or some other kind of interface? Did it come with the interface card? If SCSI, does each CDROM drive take up a ID number, or does it run off a single SCSI ID? Do you have to run seven copies of MSCDEX? Can more than one disc be accessed at once (i.e., are there physically 7 CD-ROM drives, or just one CD-ROM drive with a 7-disc magazine?) By mentioning DOS and Lantastic, I assume the CD-ROM drive is running in the DOS machine, and you are accessing it using Lantastic for OS/2 (or Warp Connect??) Is it a single-speed or double-speed CD-ROM drive(s) ? Regards, bjg --- GTMail 1.20b * Origin: Tranquility Base - 713-893-9124 - Houston, TX (1:106/400.0)
