I don't have an answer to your question, but I'd like to comment that there s at least one OS/2-native bbs package that I'm aware of, which does not have a built-in full-screen editor: Synchronet for OS/2. The initial release is in late beta right now, and is available to registered Sync sysops. I haven't made the move yet -- one of the reasons why I haven't is because I haven't found an OS/2-native full-screen editor yet that is made to run in an online environment -- much less a nice-looking ANSI one, like IceEdit or Gedit, etc. So, whether Adept supports it or not, I'd recommend that you keep working on it. There's folks that'll be needing one. Regards, Mike --- Synchronet+SBBSecho v1.22 * Origin: The Unspun Truth -- Paradigm Shift! Just thought you (and others who might be interested) should know: Rob Swindell, aka Digital Dynamics, continues to maintain his long-standing policy of not transferring Synchronet licenses. So, basically, you buy it, you're stuck with it. :( (Me too, if it's any consolation) Mike --- Synchronet+SBBSecho v1.22 * Origin: The Unspun Truth -- Paradigm Shift! I feel I've fairly well customized my Maximus/2 v3.01 setup (it looks nothing like the stock configuration). You're welcome to call and take a look. Full access (meaning access to most of the filebase, as well as to the FidoNet echoes) is not available to non-verified callers, and long distance callers are not verifiable via the call-back verifier, but that shouldn't matter for you to take a look around. But, if you do want full access on your first call, you can send me a NetMail or Internet e-mail with a password, your city/state, and voice phone # and I'd be pleased to setup a verified account for you. --From Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY, Thu, 06-27-96-- --Internet: joe.negron@consultant.com-- --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: The Programmer's Mark * Brooklyn, NY, USA: 718-921-9267 1:278/216) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 251 OS2 BBS Ref: DB400001 Date: 06/28/96 From: BEN HAMILTON Time: 09:01am \/To: CRAIG FOSTER (Read 4 times) Subj: SIO questions Craig Foster wrote in a message to All: CF> Can anyone tell me how/where to get it? http://www.gwinn.com CF> Is it shareware?
