Sounds like you need to run OS/2's chkdsk first, Curt. You should boot from your utility disks and run chkdsk on your fat drives. FatOpt should work, then, after the errors are fixed. You can put fatopt on the third utility disk and do it then after running chkdsk. -Elliott Internet: elliott.goodman@miles.tbie.hms.com Written on Saturday, 18 May 1996 ... First question Are You Running a gtek Smartcard-8???? If The answer is yes You can Get the OS/2 Drivers Either From My BBS or from the Gtek Support BBS. The 3 Drivers you Need are called Gcom27.sys & G00_405.Com & Smart4.Com copy the Gcom27.sys into your os2/boot directory. and set the smartcard-8 for IRQ 10 then add the Following into your Config.sys DEVICE=C:\os2\boot\gcom27.sys (2e0,10,D) This is the OS/2 Driver But You MUST also load the Dos side of this driver when your Board shells Out to Dos.... Now Copy G00_405.com into your ROOT Directory Add This Line to your Autoexec.bat G00_405 P,2E0 This Prevents reloading the Driver after every shell. You also have to Auto Boot the Driver upon starting Up the machine Create a File In your Root Dir and Call it Startup.CMD See Below...
