Geez, their selling their only means to play them, but they forget to sell the records. I can usually find some beauty records at really cheap prices. I ALWAYS ask if they have any, even if I don't see any, because what you say is VERY true (it's happened to me many times when they'll take me down in the basement to show me things they never even thought of selling.) As far as turntables, if it's a Garrard SL-95b I usually grab it, just to have enough parts to keep my two running (the last "nice" turntable that was commonly available that still plays 78's).
