This would of course be for CD which has not yet matured. I have recorded it as price change identifying the CD as a security but then can't ID & classify the CD interest as such in reports. Thanks. I have a loan account set up, and when I enter the check to make the payment, it shows up on the loan account as two payments instead of one. Yet, when I look at the amortization schedule, it is fine, with the correct amount of payments. It also shows having two deposits for the full amount of the loan. Help!!! I have a GIC in an RRSP and thought that identifying it as a CD was the closest. Would they be the same? I set the GIC up the same you did your Cd but hadn't thought about reports so I'm interested in seeing what kind of answers you get. Cheers Steve ... Call Intuit and find out their requirements Some recent messaging about Quicken's password prompts this - don't depend on it. I retrieved a passworded account for a friend's business because he didn't even remember making the account. It was a record a former employee made of petty theft. It's fairly easy to crack, but Quicken probably wouldn't appreciate me explaining, so I won't. Passwords on your programs are moderate security against casual snooping, but if you want real security, keep the data records on removable media and always take it with you to store in a secure place. This isn't a critisism of Quicken; no data on your hard drive is really secure, some are just easier to crack than others. * SLMR 2.1a * * SLMR 2.1a * --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.12 * Origin: City Lights <612-633-1366> <12 LINES> <28.8 D/S> (1:282/108.0) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 249 QUICKEN Ref: CG200005 Date: 11/27/95 From: JONATHAN GAUNTT Time: 01:03am \/To: ALL (Read 18 times) Subj: Ver. 5.0d / 100% CPU Hello All!
