With QMPro for Windows 95, is there a mail #reader of any kind, and if so how do I access it? I can't find any, and #the QMPro viewer and editor for Win95 don't seem capable of reading .qwk #packets. The problem is Qmodem Pro for Windows 95 has NO off line mail reader. You need a stand alone Mail reader. Only the DOS version of Qmodem Pro as an off line mail reader. Later... Pat, are you sure that the attachment isn't downloaded with the message??? To check do this....once you've downloaded your packet go into OLX. Open the packet and look at the top of the page and click on attachments. It should list the attached files and from what conference it's from. If in fact it is there, you have to copy the attachment to a directory of your choice. Just hit for copy and a default path will pop up to copy it to. If the attached file is not there, check with your sysop. May be on his end. Cheers. Sold it, QM Pro 2.0 for Win 95, and then went out and bought QM Pro 1.53. It what I'm using now, and it works as will in Win 95 as it does in DOS.
