QModemPro 1.53 is the latest.  QModem was superseded by QMPro a couple
years ago.  QMPro is a lot easier to use than QM and does more.

Depends upon your point of view. I have both 5.1 and QmPro (registered, of 
course) and I use 5.1 because the scripts are a lot easier for me to deal 
with.

Subj: QM95

How do I setup the Win95 ver. to save my mail packets and preserve the
extensions(ie. *.qwk) with previous *.qwk packets already in the D/L
directory. Currently it save the files by changing the end of the
extensions (like sound,qwk sound.qw1 sound.qw2 etc....). Any help would
be appreciated.

I seem to remember just the opposite.  QMPro automatically makes the
logon scripts in the \QMPRO\SCRIPTS\ directory (unless you specify
another directory). You just have to put the script name in the dialing
directory entry and the logon procedure is put into the script. I always
edit the script before I use it again. After the second time on the BBS,
QMPro automatically logs me on whenever I call that BBS. ill
... I wish scripts would do what I think I tell them
