TO: Fred Hall, Charles Dobbs, Leah Owens, Charlie Rovner, Sean O'Connell and John Hinzman Thanks to you all for trying to help me solve my inability to upload anything with either QModemPro for Windows, or Telix 1.10. It's been so long (over 2.5 months!) that you probably don't even remember trying to help me, but I do, and I appreciated it. The reason none of the suggestions solved the problem was that nothing was wrong with the software, the configuration or the modem/UART! The u/l failures were caused by a program that I was using to accurately set and continually monitor the time on my computer! Somehow, it was causing an undetected conflict with the Comm 1 port, and when I uploaded a file, it caused it to crash every time! Don't ask me why it only caused u/les and not d/les to crash?! I don't know why. I deleted the program, and the comm software, port and modem work fine now!!! When I have an attached file in my mail packet and want to copy it to a directory, the dialog box that pops up defaults to C:\qmpro\olx\ (attached file) Is there any way to change the default setting to the directory of my choice?
