Did you know that you can send your QWK packets to any directory you wish to? They can be sent to a \QWK or \MAIL directory so that they don't cruder up your DOWNLOAD dir. I have been using Qmodem Pro for Windows 95 Since it became avaiable, and I have not missed those programs. (I do miss the Chat feature in HS-Link though). Would make me like a dinosaur I suppose. I just think that the Qmodem Version 5 that I am using, is so good, that upgrading to a newer version would be a total waste of time, and of course $$$. Some of my most used programs are several years old. Newer isn't always better. What is the difference between Qmodem Ver 5 and Qmodem Pro. ?? RC> ... Here, I've never had that problem, however with 16mb of base memory, I usually have over 5mb free at any given moment.
