Sorry, I never received them. I do not take any fidonet on my board, so with the fidonet.org address being sent down the backbone, they are out there somewhere and un delivered. I have a fido address to facilitate file transfer and netmail. > file which you sent me. I think I have a solution to your problem, but > do not want to send it via this public conference. > Please contact me again with your wishes. You can internet me at bc914@scn.org - I appreciate your help. I will also internet to you the address so that I am sure you get it. My internet connection is not really reliable and leaves a lot to be desired. I just don't use the internet mail much so never changed. I'm just taking an educated guess, but I'd say you were somehow filling up a buffer faster than it was being emptied across the phone line. The only problem is that I know squat about buffering. It could be in Qmpro, I suppose. It could also be in Windows or the modem or the 16550 UART, I suppose. It looks like some other people are joining in this thread, so maybe you'll come across someone who knows more than I do. * QMPro 1.53 * My ship came in, but I was at the airport. --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.12 * Origin: Acorn I BBS * 1:2624/503 * Marlboro, NY * USR 28.8 (1:2624/503.0) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 248 QMODEM USER Ref: CDP00002 Date: 09/17/95 From: CHARLIE ROVNER Time: 08:39pm \/To: ANTHONY BAILEY (Read 6 times) Subj: Re: Qmpro dos 1/2 AB>Thanks for the reply Charlie. I don't know if they have a site, but I've been finding lots of software at "http://www.cnet.com".
