I run a multi-node [2 nodes] under dv 2.63 qemm 7.5 on a 486dx2/66 with 8 megs ram. I'm running spitfire 3.5 bbs software and dos 6.20. 2 usr ds v34+ modems. My problem is that ocassionally when a caller logs off node1 and reinitializes for caller the bbs will not respond to the incoming call. I can see the modem light blink when it detects a ring but no response from the bbs until I reboot the bbs and then it answers fine for awhile then it stops responding to the modem again until I reboot the bbs. Any and all sugestions are welcome. OH. When making outgoing calls on that line, no problems. Thanks in advance. * QMPro 1.53 * INTERNET: sysop@whoknws.cmnsens.fidonet.org . This is probably because COM1 and COM3 share the same interrupt. Try changing one or the other to COM2. I'm not good as this, but I seem to remember that Com1 and Com3 usually use the same interrupt string by default (as do Com2 and Com4). I believe there is a way of changing this, but I don't know what it is. You might try posting in the DOS-Tips conference, as the problem isn't due to the QModem software. --- OLX 2.2 Mental Floss prevents Moral Decay. --- PCBoard (R) v15.21/5 * Origin: State College, Pa.
