Mustang Software, Inc. is the company that produced Wildcat! BBS software. You can call (800) 663-7284 for information or placing an order. I use Qmodem Pro for DOS (version 1.5), and I love it. It comes with an off-line mail reader built in. The file you're referring to is a control file Qmodem writes during the selection of files to include in an upload. The file is mainly for external protocols.. they can be set up to read that file to know what files should be sent during an upload..
