I even have a pif LO>editor written so that I can run olx from qmodem. I recently upgraded from TD to 5.1, still run it under Windows with a pif with no problems. I also got OLX, Dos version, when I registered (great deal - $20 for both!) I'm going to go ahead and upgrade to Olx for Windows. The price is right, and I've been very happy with Mustang's products so far. I am also considering upgrading to the Win version of QModem, but I've had a lot of trouble with other Windows comm programs, so I'm going to wait awhile. I've had no troubles running Dos comm programs in a Dos window, in fact, they run just as well that way as they do when I start them straight from Dos. This all seems very strange to me, as I would think that a Windows program would run better under Windows then a Dos program would. TTYL, M. Just wondering, kinda a stupid -->question. Not stupid at all. Do you have OLX with this version of Qmpro? If you do, it automatically inserts taglines at the bottom. Is this the place to discuss qmodem scripts? Haven't found any other echos that seem to fit.... Well... would be interested in swapping scripts, ideas and snippets... I am trying to figure out how I can force a re-compile on included scripts... I use a single script I call genutils.scr for frequently used functions that I include in most other top-level scripts and it is getting extremely tiring having to manually recompile every script that uses it when I make a change to genutils.scr... but if I could somehow fool qmodem into thinking the top-level script had been modified... Also, while I am here... is there a way to have qmodem run a script automatically upon startup... I'm being lazy, I haven't looked yet, but maybe someone knows... Hey, thanks for listening...
