However, I am having trouble getting the "WHEN TIME" command to work. It is my understanding that if the statement reads, for example: when time 3:45am do call hot_rod end when then at 3:45 AM the program should execute the subprogram 'hot_rod'. However, at the time I specify, the program does nothing. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance! It is available from MSI's support BBS [(805) 873-2400] or from one of the major on-line services [AOL, CompuServe, possibly others] or from a local BBS. -pbm PaulBMitch@aol.com --- * WR 1.32 # 633 * This talgine meats all U.S. Guvermnint standerds. --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.12 * Origin: Silver Streak (1:261/1200.0) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 248 QMODEM USER Ref: CAG00003 Date: 06/09/95 From: PAUL MITCHELL Time: 12:36pm \/To: BOB SEABORN (Read 7 times) Subj: Check Out This Internet On 06-06-95 21:50 BOB SEABORN said to LESLIE MOORE > Thanks for dumping him. Sure they do, all the time, but they use alias' and such and claim to have bbs' at 1-xxx-PRi-VaTe or some such thing. Some pirate groups compete with others to see hwo can release a bug-free break first, same day is optimum, first hour is better, and if they can do it before it's even 'officially' released, that's best. Then ask your sysop to do it for you. My mailer only accepts calls rom nodes listed in the current Fidonet nodelist, and that doesn't include points. Nor does my system allow uploads from any unregistered user. All you really need is the UUENCODE/UUDECODE program and access to netmail. Again, your sysop is the best one to help you there. > BS> Sorry, I've never used OLX, so can't help you there. Yes I do, as well as a mail hub feeding over 35 nodes their daily 'fix' of echomail. Typically 7 megs in, and almost 50 megs out, each day. That's why I run the bbs on a 486DX/4-100 with a 1 gigabyte hard drive and a 33.6 V.Everything USRobotics modem.
