I have download this from several local baords, and it does not actually appear among the utilities selections. Anybody shed any light on this? BTW - I use Qmodem Pro For DOS, but recommend to new users that they try the TD and make up their own minds. Kent, ... BS> This is a start, anyway. Hi, Bob, Yeah, good to see you again. This is a strange case. The modem is configured properly and using another comm program will dial out and work flawlessly. I have done twenty or thirty installations of Qmodem, and this is the only time this problem has cropped up as a lasting problem. It's usually just a matter of switching to full duplex, and voila, it's fixed. Not in this case, however. Thanks and best regards, Kent, BS> .....Bob BS> -!- GE 1.11+ / IM 2.29c BS> ! I have two devices created. One, which is the from the Quick config list inside QmPro, and a Fax device I created using the Quick Config as a starting point. The only difference I can see in the device setup is the Term command. The quick config is AT&R1&C1&D2S0=0S11=50^M While the Fax is AT&C1&D2S0=0S11=50^M I send faxes regularly and don't experience the problems you describe. I hope this helps. --- Olms 2.0 [PKMAI4AP] * Origin: * Mississippi Online * 601-356-9032 * 28.8 * (1:361/205) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 248 QMODEM USER Ref: C5B00003 Date: 05/05/95 From: RHYAN REYES Time: 05:37pm \/To: DAVID SHERMAN (Read 14 times) Subj: Re: Qmodempro for windows 1.1 In a message to Rhyan Reyes <05-01-95 14:36> David Sherman wrote: > > > Can you fax out using another fax program? > > > --- TosScan 1.00 > * Origin: Colossus - The Columbus Computer Society - Columbus, OH > (1:226/120) Yes, I can. I have WinFax Lite bundled with the modem. If you're thinking that there is a hardware conflict, there isn't because why would I be writing this message to you? (Not to be offending or anything like that....) I'm using QmodemPro for Windows as my communication program.
