I have the same with the update QM5PTCH, as you have. I cannot get ALT-M to work when I use the MAIL READER in the SETUP Directory as C:\QMODEM\OLX\OLX.EXE which is the location of the OLX reader in the Qmodem files as setup in V 5.01. Do you have the same problem? If not, what do you think my problem is. I do just as well by setting up a couple of batch probrams to quickly switch between the BBS and OLX programs. You can't add an external protocol to the Windows version of Qmpro but it's easy to add one to the Dos version, just look in your manual under "External Protocols" Personally I would just use the built-in Zmodem, I've tried several external protocols and and none of them was worth the aggravation IMHO ! --- * OLXWin 1.00a * rwalker@ios.com --- QScan/PCB v1.16b / 01-0287 * Origin: B.F.W.K. Inside the file there are explanation on how to install HSLINK on various communication software and it has an explanation on how to install it on your qmodem.
