Great Idea! :-) Does hooking a chain between the bumper and a tree sound like a good idea? In other words, would the tubes slide out smoothly, or do they need to be hammered out? _ 3 Dave Gostl 7 847 78% 1:396/44 *!!!* http://www.sstar.com/d/ ... She was a triple axle,18,000 front, 56,000 rears and a 12,000 tag, legal max was 80,000 lbs., the 5% allowance allowed would allow 84,000 but that was streatching it. She ran 12x20 rubber all around, total of "fourteen wheels". I cannot count how many times I ran her maybe 100,000 gross, and she'd run all day no problem like that. Once I blew out the left front tire while running a load of hot rolled flat bar, the paylead was 64,000 lbs. We never found any trace of the tire, or for that matter, there was no trace of the split rim or the band either. It's probable that she was gone long before I had an indication that she had blown, that the load had balanced the truck without a tire on that wheel. --- * Origin: The Verplanck Point, mitch@nettrip.net (1:2604/539.11) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 246 AUTOMOTIVE Ref: F5G00093 Date: 05/01/98 From: TOM WALKER Time: 07:09am \/To: JOHN FAERBER (Read 0 times) Subj: Radio Antenna -> My Toronado has an electric antenna,it is 4 sections, but the top -> section will not extend. -> -> How do I get it unstuck, or freed up so it extends to its full -> length? -> --- Maximus/2 3.01 -> * Origin: * MacSavvy OS/2 BBS * Dallas, Texas * 972-250-4479 * -> (1:124/1208) --- Platinum Xpress/386/Wildcat! v1.3e * Origin: The Alien Biker Kat BBS/Wildcat/PX.
