For what, Chris?! Doing his job!? Get real man! The citizen was disturbing the peace, and causing a public disturbance! Your going to reprimand the officer for doing his job? Especially in a situation thats escalated to the next level!? According to you, a citizen has every right to be verbally abusive, disrespectful, and to totally disregard any lawful authority. And, even more pitiful, if the policeman tries to arrest the irate citizen for causing the unnecessary disturbance, you want him reprimanded!? Jeeze....! CZ> I'd hate to be in that cop's shoes. I'd give the officer my wholehearted support for doing his job and, not backing down from some big mouth. I didn't see any public demonstration for the officer abusing his authority as you put it? So, it's quite obvious, there are others who agreed with that persons arrest. Apparently, you expect the officer to perform in an undulating fashion. That's not going to happen Chris, a police officers job couldn't possibly be done in that way on a daily basis. Actually, it's people like you that overreact, induce public suspicion and tend to incite dramatization, for an act of authority being exercised in it's proper form. Actually Ray, a lot of FWD cars have this system, including my own 94 Buick Century. RWD cars tend to have front/rear split systems. I've run into it enough to keep my eye out for it, especially on FWD cars. I do know Subaru is using it on their entire 97 line and Mercedes is supposed to be using it on the A-6.
