Well, it's a mite difficult to justify moving over when the car blocking you is right beside you and the car behind him is maybe 10-15 ft further back, and right in the middle of your trailer and the car behind that one is still next to your trailer - not behind it. It uses a high pressure fuel pump (up to 2000 bar) and a common rail connected to the injectors. The injectors open by electric valves. So the moment of injection can be dosed very accurately. I recently test drove an Alfa Romeo 156 equipped with such an engine, and it's a marvel. The low-end torque and power of the Diesel and the smoothness of the gas engine. Lovely.
