RL>"Fool" my Chip? I'm thinking about getting some Flowmasters installed on RL>my truck. if not, some plain turbo mufflers. Dual of course. More tips for you Ruben. If you are going to get exhaust, get a whole cat-back system, not just mufflers! I have talked with quite a few people with late model LT1 FBodies who have made that mistake. In one magazine, just adding flowmaster mufflers made the car lose 10 horsepower! Typical losses are about 4-5hp for the LT1 350s. A whole cat-back exhaust system usually adds between 5-10. Don't believe these claims of 20+ horsepower. Flowmaster sounds good, I have Edelbrock and I love that as well. I would stay away from Borla, they are pricey, and pop and crackle. --- * OLX 2.1 TD * This ain't as good as sex---but it's safer! --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.12 * Origin: Fresh Start BBS * Edison NJ * (732) 248-1678 * (1:107/310.0) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 246 AUTOMOTIVE Ref: F2D00039 Date: 02/07/98 From: KENNY HENDERSON Time: 04:22pm \/To: ROY WITT (Read 0 times) Subj: 1999 Cars RW> DD>> or was there a factory turbo'd Corvette too?
