Since I do a lot of RV driving, I have developed a habit of EVERY time I hook up the trailer and get ready to pull out I check the functioning of ALL lights on my van and trailer. Considering I stretch out over 50' in length, MUST make WIDE right turns, and do not/can not drive at the speed limits when the limit is over 55 MPH I want to make sure I have done everything possible to prevent problems. Yes, I am very conscious of the mechanical aspects also. Now about the family car. I do periodically check the lights, but no where near every time I get ready to drive. Probably maybe once a month of so. I feel I do check things FAR more than the average individual. Any body that expects drivers to check the lights each time or even daily or weekly is just whistling in the wind. ___ OLX 2.1 TD Hors de Ourves:Sandwiches cut into a lot of little pieces --- RemoteAccess 2.50+ * Origin: Northern Lights! * San Antonio * 210-499-6299 V34/VFC (1:387/23) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 246 AUTOMOTIVE Ref: F2400005 Date: 02/03/98 From: JAY EMRIE Time: 01:55pm \/To: MICHAEL SHARON (Read 0 times) Subj: Re: Vehicle Confiscation MS> -=> Quoting Jay Emrie to Michael Sharon <=- MS> JE> I well remember the last time I drove through New York city, on the MS> JE> expressways, seeing numerous cars off to the side of the traffic anes MS> JE> in various stages of beign stripped!
