Well, immature, I've been working on engines for over twice that length of time, but I do not know it all nor claim to. Seems to me though, that if the chain is stretched and the chain drives the cam shaft the cam shaft timing will be off in exact proportion to the stretch in the chain. How can you "make sure the timing is correct" under that circunstance? Other than the adjustable cam shaft pulley referred to below OR replacing the chain the camshaft timing WILL be OFF. Is my logic correct or not? If not, please explain why.
