I'm sure that you changed oil at something close to the recommended intervals so it wasn't a short term observation. I think you've convinced me to switch back to Mobil 1, though both oils showed a savings over regular oil I'm surprised at the gap between Syntec and Mobil 1. That fuel savings represents quite a reduction of internal friction. Hello ALL, Kind of obscure request, but I went into shock when we were told what exhaust parts were for my wife's 1990 Passat 4 cyl wagon. The dealer came up with over $700 in parts! This is for the pieces after the converter to the rear. I can't find any other sources locally for under $500. Has anyone got any ideas? What are some good sources for Borla or Abarth? I don't see this stuff advertised in the car magazines I get any more.... Thanks. That is a little High but nothing to worry about if running at least a 50/50 mixture of Anti-Freeze. And you have no other indication of overheating, Like Boilover after engine shut down.
