Hey, i was wondering what formulas you used to figure that out. What i mean is, i've got some formulas to figure out Horsepower, but they involve the Mean Effective Pressure of the cylinder. Now, i know that it is somehow related to the compression ratio and degrees of crank, but i'm not quite sure how to get it without exact data on the head design and stuff But, i was wondering if your formulas needed it or not. -Lates --- Telegard v3.09.g1/mL * Origin: The Rapid Eye - 913-393-4104 - Olathe,KS (1:280/183) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 246 AUTOMOTIVE Ref: F1R00020 Date: 01/15/98 From: STEWART AMGWERT Time: 08:43am \/To: ED BROWN (Read 0 times) Subj: Warning light EB>I have a 1996 Chevy pickup c1500 and at 25000 mi the service engine EB>light came on and I have tuned it up by changing the plugs, cap and EB>rotor.. SA>If you figure out what lit your light drop me a line. Well, yes, there is something you can do. Go to a auto parts house and spend about $30 on a code reader to match your vehicle. Then you can at least find out what codes are stored and determine what probably/possibly is the cause. You may or may not be able to effect the repair, but you stand a chance. Another plus, by knowing the codes and the possible defect, an cheating garage isn't as likely to snooker you by saying it is something else much more expensive when they know you know the trouble code. * OLX 2.1 TD * Bargain: Net profit from a saloon. --- RemoteAccess 2.50+ * Origin: Northern Lights! * San Antonio * 210-499-6299 V34/VFC (1:387/23) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 246 AUTOMOTIVE Ref: F1S00004 Date: 01/22/98 From: CHARLES BOWMAN Time: 05:44pm \/To: JOHN PUMMILL (Read 0 times) Subj: Oil pump?
