Since the actual operating conditions vary widely th -> TW> provided a Replace Sensor Code in the computer. And in your case -> since -> TW> you noted an Increase of Fuel Miledge. Expected after replacing -> a Failed -> TW> Sensor, al is well. Right? -> -> Almost! It has a more noticable miss when it is first started after -> sitting for several hours after repalcing the O2 Sensor (computer -> needs time to readjust to the new sensor output?) Was showing around -> 18.5 with 85% expressway driving per tank, Now it is sitting on -> almost 21.5 according the onboard computer which has proved to be -> accurate when comparing the computer # against the old gallons used -> and miles travelled formula. Shouldn't be any learning. the sensor just puts out a Voltage directly proportional to Oxygen content. As far as the miss the Bad sensor could have been masking a Cold Start mixture problem by having the engine run rich. That most likely would be the Temperature sensor for the engine computer.
