I can only agree with you when it is in a production car... however, it is their CONCEPT car... and often concept cars can't move by itself, often it is just a body, 4 wheels, a faux steering wheel, and a faux engine made with plastic... :) I can't blame them for saving money by not improving the tranny on a concept car... After all, they are already making a Ford Explorer sized car run faster than most "sports" car... :) I'd really like to see that 5.4L engine making 400HP and mated to Borg Warner T56... that'd be rally something... Now the farreri 355 need to worry about their market shares... and buyers need to worry about insurances... :) BTW Mustang Cobra #80 (forgot if it was 1996 or 1997) was purchased by... Guess who? First off let me just comment on something here. I don't know where this .4 difference came from, but its total BS. Maybe some stupid magazine dumped a Viper's clutch at 6,000 and spun like crazy thus got a time that is only .4 better then a C5 Vettes, I don't know. I have come across both cars on the street. There is absolutley no comparison at all. Coming back from the swap meet at Englishtown last spring I came up next to a Viper at a light. The two guys were real nice, and I just wanted to see how bad I'd get smoked. Very bad:) I already posted about my encounter with a C5.
