I have a chance to buy one that has had the timing chain and gears replaced. My questions are: Is changing the timing chain normal or reccommended for this engine? Will any valve damage result from being out of time, or jumping time? What is the overall quality and durability of this engine? - Pedit Ver 2.6 Best regards, Mike Hill --- * Origin: The GOOD News BBS, Chattanooga TN, 423-698-0407 (1:362/112) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 245 OLD TRUCKS Ref: DCZ00001 Date: 08/28/96 From: LENARD MC DONALD Time: 08:16pm \/To: ALL (Read 6 times) Subj: Genealogy & History BBS The "Genealogy & History BBS", of Culver City, CA, (310) 836-1043, is now FidoNet Node # 1:102/527.0 and fully supports this conference 23 hours per day, 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year.
