An IHC 1300 series pickup (1-1/2 ton 4x4 with a 392), and a GMC 3500 Crew cab dually (with a 454). Of course I would never own a truck as my only car. That is why I also have a '87 MB-560 SEC, '87 Ford Tortise, 2- '83 Lincoln Mark VI's, '81 Vette, '77 Monza Mirage (305 V-8 - mustang killer), 2- '73 Buicks and a '57 Imperial (392 Hemi with 2 4-bbl carbs). Those are only the driveable ones. No one car can fit all of a persons needs. SP> i love them so if you like tucks write back from shaun SP> patience But if I write back from shaun patience, how will you know you are not writing to yourself??? My Chevy is starting to have some little problems and when I think about them all together it seems like a lot more than it is. Starter starting to drag, and I can't restart it when it's warm. Short in wiring going to headlights, bright beams only unless I unplug the lights and run a jumper to the low beams. Noticed some fluid on the inside of left rear tire, either a seal on the axle or maybe a wheel cylinder leaking. Need to replace the wood in the bed, but I'd really like to get some diamond plate or something for it. Need to get the front end rebuilt, so I can get some mileage out of last years Federal tax return tires. But it sure takes up a *LOT* of my time, and my phone bills got up to over $500/mo there for a while (really cuts into the ol' savings). It's been better since I spent the $500 in the BitSurfer ISDN and the USR 33.6 modem. Don't know if it's the speed that's doing it - or the sheer terror of being charged .18 cents/min over the digital lines. The voice quality has REALLY improved and I get less errors. Most of the time I can get around 3500 CPS on an analog call and about 5800 CPS to the digital nodes. I've seen a reduction to about $150-200/mo since ISDN was installed, but PacBell is NOW trying to get an OK from CPUC for a rate increase of 53.3% for the ISDN rates... I feel really bad for Eric. I hear (in the *C echo) that he's having some real problems with the LEC over there... Glad I got away from it. And that's it on THAT topic... ;-) All the Best to you and yours, Bruce LeGrande N2003C --- GEcho 1.11+ * Origin: Covenant Keeper Network Server - Lake Co. I'm looking for 5-hole 20" rims for my ton-and-a-half '38 Ford. While there are many "budd" wheels around, the Ford's had a shallower dish than most. If anyone has one or more of these wheels (which originally took 7.00 x 20 tires) around, I'd like to buy one or several. Thanks!
