FR> Frankly I liked A GRAVE TALENT better than the Sherlock Holmes one, ST> I LOVE the Mary Russell books, have an ARC of "The Moor" sitting right ST> here. I have to agree with Fred, I like the Kate Martinelli books better than the Mary Russell series. I thought the ending of 'Monstrous Regime of Women' was way out of character of Holmes and totally implausible. I do like the Kate Martinelli character and the interplay between the two women. King developes the mood very well in 'Grave Talent' I think. I just finished 'Frost At Christmas' by R.D. Wingfield. You might not like it as it is a British series, but I tend to love Anglo mystries. I don't emember the actor's name who plays Jack Frost in the TV adaptations of this series, but he captures the tone of the books very well. The TV series is a very faithful translation of the books. Recently read 'Sunburn' by Laurence Shames, another of my favorite authors. Shames is another author who creates great characters and dialog, with lots f dry humor. I'm currently reading 'The Third Twin' by Ken Follett. I'm not that far into it yet, so I don't want to judge it too much yet. The characters don't seem o be that well developed so far, but it looks like the plot will hold my interest. TTYL, Bob 8-{) --- Blue Wave/DOS v2.20 * Origin: TechTalk; Calgary, Alberta.
