His newest is "Hunting a Detroit Tiger".They are very well written and you don't have to be a baseball fan to enjoy them. The main character is a baseball player, not a great one, as he is traded a lot (a chance for Troy to write about anothe team!) I have only read one Brother Cadfael, "A Morbid Taste for SB> Bones" ST> but I found it quite amusing, and a good read. I just taped SB> "The Devil's ST> Novice" on PBS as I had never seen one of the SB> televised ones. SB> Sigh. This was on here the other night but I missed it. Hopefully SB> it will be back around on our local PBS affiliate. There is a whole new Brother Cadfael series on right now. (Called Brother Cadfael 2). Here it is on Thursday nights. ST> It is a much "deeper" book in my opinion. Very much into theology and ST> feminism. SB> Hmmm. That sounds interesting, if a bit daunting for someone who SB> purports to read only "junk"! Same here, and it was a bit slow going but well worth it! I am reading the second of the "Purple Sage" books right now. Barbara Burnett Smith series. Another series I recently found and am very glad I did! Also Jan Burke.
