BA>It is a very good book, I read 4 chapters on 34 minutes. :))))) BA>Som I was wondering if anybody else has read it. :) BA>Ja ne, My friends! I haven't read that one (I think) but I have read many of the other Xanth books (the series that _Harpy Thyme_ is part of). They can be quite fun. May I suggest, if you have it, that the Science Fiction fidonet echo might be a better place to find others also interested in Piers Anthony and other Fantasy/Science Fiction authors? There are a lot of good people over there! Give them a try. I keep reading other ST> books in the middle of it. Are you (did you) watch "Night Sins" on ST> t.v.? Since I have "Schindler's List" on tape, I am planning on watching ST> it, but the reviews I have seen have been stink-o. I have read Night Sins but wanted to know if you felt that the Guilty As Sin was as good as the other one. I am new here and hope you don't mind my just jumping in and asking a question. I am one of those consumate readers who has to read at least one book a day or I go nuts. I would rather read than just about anything else. My favorites are mysteries, true crime as long as they are not overly gory and just about anything except science fiction and Horror. Hi, Suzze. Am working my way through the Lindsey Davis "Falco" series. I really enjoy them. I think the only one I have left is Poseiden's Gold. The repartee reminds me of the old "Moonlighting" series. Have bought Mostrous Regiment of Women but havn't stuck my nose in it yet. Am trying to finish "The Nirvanah Blues" (non-mystery) - the final book of a New Mexico Trilogy written by John Nichols. Do you know if Lauie King has a new Kate Martinelli one out yet? It is "A COWBOY DETECTIVE" by Charles Siringo. This man was an agent of that detective agency for many years. This book is his autobiography of his years as a detective in the cowboy era. The odd thing is that the Pinkerton Agency, in its efforts to protect its reputation, refused to let its name be used. the result is a bit odd, but it is a good story, all the more because it is true! --- Platinum Xpress/Win/Wildcat5! v2.0 * Origin: Mr Zip "Home of Aunt Gabby Echo" (1:123/17) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 244 MYSTERY Ref: E3P00000 Date: 03/17/97 From: BLANCA ALVAREZ Time: 01:56am \/To: DENNIS MENARD (Read 4 times) Subj: Ne book!!!
