Last night I finished what I was reading and couldn't decide which of the hundreds of books in the TBR pile to read. So I picked 5. I am reading them all. I read about 30 pages of each one last night. I will either go crazy, or one will get sooo good that the others will get set aside while I read it. The 5 books are "Goodnight, Irene" by Jan Burke, "Trunk Music" by Michael Connelly, "The Promise of Jenny Jones" by Maggie Osborne (a romance someone told me was the BEST romance they had ever read), a Star Trek Voyager a friend gave me called "Mosaic" by Jeri Taylor (it's about Janeway's life), and an advanced reading copy of a suspense novel called "One Two Buckle My Shoe" by Jessie Hunter about a man who abducts and kills small boys when he grabs a girl by mistake. I'll let you know if this works. (I have my doubts) ... I no longer keep books in my bedroom...I discovered I slept less, and since I have fibromyalis, I need all the sleep I can get. If the pain gets to be too much, then I get up and go to the kitchen and read to take my mind off the pain.
