Just hang in there, Meg ..... take a deep breath several times when you feel that "need" for a ciggie .... then that feeling goes away. Sometime I would start humming ...... sometimes I would get up and start doing something (my house was the cleanest right after I quit smoking )...... and, sometimes I got a cup of coffee (sounds strange but that seemed to help me more than anything else). Just keep going -- it WILL get easier .. I promise! --- * Origin: Home of Mr X's 'XTRAORDINARY CARRIAGE SERVICES! I found a wonderful Amish man in MO who makes harrness stuff -- after pricing new harness for BIG JIM from various different places I was beginning to wonder if I was going to be able to afford it (nice, showy harness was starting at $900 UP). Anyway, this man in MO not only made the harness for me (and it IS beautiful), but, he had it sent UPS with a bill enclosed (that's a first for me -- that I didn't have to pay first). AND, the cost of the harness was bout 1/2 what I had priced. If anyone wants his name and telephone number (he has an answering ervice who takes you name and number and then he calls you back), I'll be happy to post it. ALSO, I found a carriage place in MO who makes Stage Coaches and restores other carriages if anyone is interested. --- * Origin: Home of Mr X's 'XTRAORDINARY CARRIAGE SERVICES! If your horse won't canter on the correct lead, the horse is probably unbalenced and can't take the lead. We do something called bending. Your horse should be round or going on the bit when you bend. They should do circles about 10 meters or so and that will help strengthen the horses muscles. Ask for the lead when you are in a circle, because they are already "set up" to take that lead. Rarely will they not take the lead. I recommend lots of circles. --- PCBoard (R) v15.3/M 5 * Origin: Spare Parts BBS - Appleton WI (920-731-7697) (1:139/625) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 243 HORSES Ref: F5G00014 Date: 04/20/98 From: "EMIL KUCERA" Time: 12:48pm \/To: ALL (Read 1 times) Subj: Re: Chain Letter From: "Emil Kucera" Subject: Re: Chain Letter On Mon, 20 Apr 1998 11:24:58 -0400, Mike May wrote: >Horse Chain Letter Fat chance of gettting my 16hh Arab, you Fjord person, you!
