So, we're going to run an ACTH test today. Have to draw the blood and run it to the Tufts Vet School, as it has to be frozen within 3 hours and then kept on dry ice, and my vet doesn't have the facilities to do that. DX? Possible Cushings Syndrome, but who knows at this point. She doesn't really have most of the symptoms for that...no coarse hair coat that doesn't shed, nor loss of weight (that's for sure!) and this is a disease usually found in much older horses. So we continue to wait and see...wait and see...This is driving me nuts! I'll keep you updated.....ever have those days when you just wanted to get out of the horse business altogether........
