I had no idea that there was another carriage service in the area ..... there is over in Ft Myers. AND, I found that there was a "company" doing and organizing "Western Weddings" in our area too. I spoke with them this morning. Anyway, to make a long story short, the other carriage serivce does NOT have a very good reputation (drives comes dressed dirty and is rather obnoxious etc) .... the people running the "Western Wedding" Company was thrilled to find another carriage service .... Darn, I can't remember his name either -- there was an artcle in EQUUS about it (last year I believe) ..there was another article about a horse who had foundered because he ate too many little green apples from a tree in the pasture. After I wrote that note I remembered about Meg telling us that Fiddle had broken down the fence and had gotten into the pasture that she had fertilized etc and her hubby had to replace the fence posts (something he had planned on doing slowly during the summer but had to do all at once) ..... I then wondered if that's what had caused the founder ... --- * Origin: Home of Mr X's 'Xtraordinary Carriage Services (1:371/33) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 243 HORSES Ref: EBH00007 Date: 07/11/97 From: JEAN PROPHET Time: 07:50pm \/To: VICKI NICHOLS (Read 0 times) Subj: Nice!! > JP> Got the "postcard pics" today ....... Obviously she'd done a good job. Nice to hear for a change.. Heckl even Tush is getting a touch kissy faced since she's been watching Mom get saddled for awhile now. With CJ you'd darn well better spend a few moments being affecionate. CJ needs her re-assurance. :) I had a touch of MSM left over.. it seems to be helping quite a bit. I came REAL close to lopping her today.. but she was wary of my stress levels (I had some stuff on my mind), so I decided not to try it.. I'll wait till we're both level headed. Tush doesn't seem to pick up on that kind of stuff... she's more interested in what's going on around her. Zippo PIne Bar horses seem to be REAL curious. Heck I even had Tush in the arena with a novice and her mare.. the Novice (cute blonde my age).. didn't know to stay away..
