You'll never believe this ..... (or maybe you WILL believe it ) ..... but X has another job on August 9th. NOW, here comes the UNbelievable part -- the girl who is getting married called me from NEW JERSEY .... she's having to make all the arrangements LD ... (I told her she could contact me on the 800 number up at EGS if she needed to again). She wanted to know if we had a WHITE horse and carriage -- I told her the horse was white -- carriage was black but could be decorated up with white trappings and decorations. She was thrilled ..... She called here at the house at noontime today -- we made the arrangements .... I told her $175 per hour - 2 hour minimum with $50 travel time to Clewiston. She agreed. When I told her about the travel time I told her about the QUINCE we had done back in April ..... she said "OH, that was YOU?? We SAW you -- thought it was a wedding". She told me that someone had given her our telephone number for a horse and carriage but she didn't realize that who they had seen back in April was us. I'm going to send her some pics ...... I think she also saw us on the InterNet . That's it ...... small world, huh??? Please tell her CONGRATS for me!! I will do that Jean. -> > all of her remaining coops at Kodak she will be all > set to graduate a -> year from > now. -> Very good!!!! She's really doing well, Mike -- you should be terrible -> PROUD of her for sure!! I am very proud of her. She is quite a kid. Did I tell you that she started RIT's (Rochester Inst of Tech) Equestrian Club & Intercolligiate Team? They didn't have one and she wanted to compete in the League. So she organised a meeting and got about 15 other kids to join with her. They did real well his year in the comititions too. They travel to other schools all over the state for the compititions. They don't take horses with them. The host school provides all of the horses. You draw a horse when you arrive and jump on and ride your class with never having ridden this horse before. They do it the same way for the jumping classes. They don't get any time to check out the horse at all. It makes for some real interesting classes! ;-) She came up 1 point short of qualifying for the regionals this year. The eam came in about the middle of the pack. Not bad for the first year I would y. --- PCBoard (R) v15.3/M 2 * Origin: Home of Malla, the spoiled Norwegian Fjord (1:2613/128) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 243 HORSES Ref: E5^00001 Date: 05/29/97 From: MIKE MAY Time: 06:00am \/To: MEG ALFONI (Read 0 times) Subj: Malla still Has it -> MM :>Well I haven't had time to brag for awhile so I thought I -> MM :>would now. -> -> It HAS been a while...so, you're entitled!
