Well I can tell just by reading your message that you know a bit more about them than your letting on. I mean a non-horse person doesn't have a clue about leopard Appaloosa's. I know from experience that you can't live with horse kids and not have some of it rub off on you. ;-) --- PCBoard (R) v15.3/M 2 * Origin: Home of Malla, the spoiled Norwegian Fjord (1:2613/128) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 243 HORSES Ref: E3H00001 Date: 03/11/97 From: MIKE MAY Time: 06:05am \/To: BOB SEABORN (Read 1 times) Subj: Well, -> > Well if you find any let me know I have been here for 10 years waiting > -> for it > to start. However, my eldest is 23.5, and I've put up with the horse thing from her for about 19 years now. She got her first horse about 6-7 years ago, a thouroughbred, but it died (brain hemorrage) maybe 4-5 years ago, so about a year later she bought a quarterhorse stud with the insurance money. A couple of years later, she bought a filly yearling quartherhorse at an auction. She really lucked out, as the filly has grown into a fabulous mare (her words). Last summer, she went deep into hock, and signed the mortgage for 40 acres, a 1250 sq. ft. house, garage, barn, and tack shed, about 10 miles west of here. Then my other daughter, 11.9, decided she *HAD* to have a horse of her own, so the two of 'em together ganged up on Dad. I wouldn't know what a leopard Appaloosa was, except I heard the girls talk about it. As far as horses go, my mind's a sponge (shaddup Kohl), and I soak up what I hear. Unfortunately, when it's squeezed out, it usually doesn't make sense. :) .....Bob --- GEcho/32 & IM 2.50 * Origin: Further North - USR 33.6 x2 (306) 956-3383 (1:140/12.1) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 243 HORSES Ref: E3H00004 Date: 03/12/97 From: MIKE MAY Time: 05:49am \/To: KARIN BREWER (Read 1 times) Subj: a reminder -> Goodness, and here I thought you all were the NEC!
