The vet from Pioneer Equine Hospital said that the hay was the cause for this horse. What a terrible thing to have happen with that stud. I've spent hours helping to walk colicing horses. Thats one great thing about our barn. If a horse has a problem everyone helps. Just because its your horse doesn't mean that you are on your own. We all help each other. If a horse needs medicine and we know that the owner will have trouble getting out we volunteer to give it then they help us when the situation is reversed.
