Well it was more like she made me drive spot! ;-) She wasn't about to take no for an answer. ;-) We went for somewhere around 2 miles I guess. We had a real nice time Vicki rode Casey along side of us. -> I know -- I was there when I was a child -- I've never forgotten it nor -> the trip we took on horseback to the bottom. Was it really on horseback or was it muleback? They still have daily rides o the bottom on mules but I am not so sure horses would do so well on that terrain. -> You're probably right ....... maybe *I* am more comfortable with driving -> him . Maybe just slow down a bit. He still isn't very old either. Take your time with him. Stop and think about this Jean. You DO know how to do this, you have done it before. Just go back and think about what really worked well nd what didn't work so well the last times you did this. --- PCBoard (R) v15.3/M 2 * Origin: Home of Malla, the spoiled Norwegian Fjord (1:2613/128) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 243 HORSES Ref: E1^00000 Date: 01/30/97 From: BONNIE MACPHERSON Time: 01:36pm \/To: ALL (Read 1 times) Subj: Fjord mares for sale I have a friend who had five fjord horses and sold two a few weeks ago, and now has two more for sale. This is only one of many things that can go wrong during breeding, and the reason it took me three years to finally get aroudn to it. Loosing a mare to breeding is not that uncommon. In fact at the barn where I keep CJ and her baby (Tush) we had 4 mares bred the same year.. three died of varying causes. > I was told as well that sometime between the time I lost her and where > she is now that someone taught her to drive, so I will get to enjoy her > as well.
