There are a LOT of factors here, not the least of which is that 7 -> years ago I was spending HOURS every night with my horses and now spend a -> few hours a week with them due to pressures at home. So I am no longer at -> that home. Well we knew something strange was going on because we called and he said hat you just came and dropped off the jeep and left again. Said he didn't know where you were. We are real sorry to hear this Vicki but I am sure you know what is best for you. Hopefully all this will work out for the better for you. Please try and keep us posted. If there is anyway you can get a snailmail address to me I have something I want to send you. The part that I -> found the MOST amusing was the large sign that stated it was illegal to UY -> or SELL anything in the park without a permit! I was certain that our -> county sheriff, Sheriff Joe Arpaio (a.k.a. THE TOUGHEST SHERIFF IN MERICA) -> was going to show up and handcuff us all and take us down to his Tent City -> with the rest of the prisoners and wear pink underwear and eat bologna -> sandwiches! Oh now that would have been fun... Probably would have gotten to meet "Buba" in a real up close and personal sort of way too if ya know what I mean! -> I really thought that Mike would comment on dinner, though. We first -> went -> to the steakhouse I had gone to with the Alfoni's, and there were at least -> three dozen people waiting outside! So we went to my second choice, Bill -> Johnson's Big Apple Steakhouse, and I learned that the waitresses in New -> York don't wear real revolvers like the ones here at Bill Johnson's do. I -> don't believe that a LOT of people stiff the waitresses there, though! That was a pretty cool place alright. I don't know as I have ever been in a restaurant that had ALL of the waitress' wearing side arms! And the food was great too. And of course I forgot to tell everyone about my "Mikes" tee shirt and hat. They have a tack shop right near where Vicki keeps the horses called Mike's Discount Hay Barn. They are some real friendly people in there too. Had ome pretty good prices too. Didn't want to carry much back on the plane thou so we didn't buy to much. -> Anyway, I had the BEST time with you guys, Mike, and am looking forward -> to -> the next time I see you all! This echo has the NEATEST people in it, and -> the Alfoni's and Mays are living proof of that. Well we are looking forward to seeing you again to Vicki. We had a great day with you, the horses and the Navajo's. ;-) -> Anyway, maybe I will be back on this weekend. I'll look around for -> another BBS as Dean is threatening to take this one down. No, I haven't -> really talked to him since last week. I don't think I am ready to. Maybe -> after I have my OWN house and have to go over and pick up my stuff. (I -> BOUGHT some clothes, etc.) Well if you can please send me a new snailmail address. If you don't want to post it here then mail it to me at 1203 Appian Dr. Webster, NY 14580 or send it netmail if you can to me @ 1:2613/128 I have something i want to send out to you. -> Hope you had a great trip back. A vet mentioned to me that it is a case of "some horses get it, and some don't". When taking a horse off of Alfalfa and putting them on Oat Hay, I guess I don't understand...are they growing the "hay" in different locations? Is it becasue the Alfalfa has a higher protein, or is that not the problem? I hve also been told that in San Diego county there are different locations within the county that have higher percentages of problems. I assume its where the Feed store gets there shipments from? The realtor paged me today to tell me he already had located 26 properties within the parameters I set up. Tomorrow a.m. we will have breakfast together and we'll sort out according to address, even though there still may be one or two of what Greg (my realtor friend) calls "a diamond in a goat's @$$."
