VN :> Hey, send me a PHOTO of the artwork you are working on VN :>with HORSE POWER, a friend of mine has an engraving VN :>business. I'll see if he can SCAN it and make you a big VN :>(plastic) engraved sign for your barn. Really!! That would be great. See what he'd charge and I'll send you the artwork (actually, it's just the horse from Word and regular type off the computer!) I ain't no artist (g)! JP :> I donno' -- I was beginning to think I was nothing but JP :>a coward ...... Ha! I can't think of "you" and "coward" in the same sentence! You might be nervous, even scared, but a coward? Never! JP :> That's all I want to do, Meg ...... I have to get JP :>started back someplace -- I'd like nothing better than for JP :>X and me both to really be calm and relaxed -- the rest JP :>will come later . Well, I sent you a response to your post about his bowel problem....if what I suspect is true, then I'd hold off on this show, Jean. What he doesn't need is more stuff to make him nervous. JP :> Well, don't know 'bout that -- I would LIKE to do JP :>better -- but most of X's "problems" are ME ....I'm JP :>trying to take it slow and easy....I finally figured out JP :>today that the problem I was having with him backing up was JP :>ME -- I was excerting leg pressure making him back sideways JP :>-- when I finally figured it out and held my legs AWAY from JP :>his sides, he backed up straight and nice ...... when I JP :>wanted him to turn backing up just a little pressure on the JP :>oppisite side - he was AWESOME!!! We did a figure 8 type JP :>backup like a breeze ...... too bad I was giving him mixed JP :>signals before -- he must have thought *I* was nuts JP :>. My sister is superintendent of a school -> district that is flooded; she has over 300 people living in her grade ->school auditorium. Nah...Couldn't get to the horses for a couple of days but otherwise everything here was fine. Where is your sister? A lot of people are doing volunteer work up in the Delta area from here. They evacuated people only 2 blocks from my brothers home in Modesto and my parents couldn't get off the hill and they still have only one of the 6 ways off open. The bridge that I usually cross is closed so I have to go the long ways. I spent the storm in my studio making glass beads. The grocery store is less than a block away, the video store is across the street from it. So except for not being able to get to the horses I wasn't even inconvienced. I was VERY lucky.
