Welllllll full size while being a tad to big works.. or at least that's what she's been working in for awhile now. I'm going to back off on her a bit.. let her out two days in a row with Straw and her knee seems to be bothering her again.. so I'll have to restrain her for the nest couple of days. Let's see.. she sidepassed like a dream today (2nd time I've asked). Lunged very nicely in the COLD wind.. walk trot only. Straw as even a gem (well for him that is.. ;). CJ was CJ.. especially since she hasn't been ridden in a bit.. Yeha! ;) Need to come up with a good line about 2 pointing.. like it saves lives..;) BK --- DB A3000sl/001347 * Origin: * Conniption BBS * one fit at a time (1:102/861) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 243 HORSES Ref: E1C00012 Date: 01/08/97 From: BOB KOHL Time: 01:56am \/To: MIKE MAY (Read 1 times) Subj: Re: Merry Christmas! > -> I'm thinking of hoping a plane and meeting you all over in Phoenix.. > Well that would be ok. BK :>> She pulls on the bit. Drives me crazy! I'm switching to a thinner, Well, duh that I am.....she was de-capping a tooth! I thought she was all done with this stuff until I looked in her mouth the other day and there was a cap hanging by a thread. So, I already had her saddled, and I just lunged her with the saddle and a halter! The tooth is out and a nice, new one coming in fine underneath. I'll have to review my "when horses lose teeth" information (g)! I haven't tried the bridle in the past day or two...if the weather holds, I'll try again this afternoon (it's very cold and VERY windy) and see if that was what the problem was. Amazing how there's ALWAYS a reason for horses misbehaving, isn't it! Meg --- * Origin: Elizabeth's Revenge (1:330/173)
