Gjest's is a nice shot in that issue. -> Nice horse! err Pony! :) Well this has and always will be a bone of contention with Fjord owners. The Norwegians call them Fjord Horses. I think the reason they do that though is because there is no word in Norwegian that translates to Pony. It doesn't really matter to me if they are called one or the other. I cheat as it is with CJ.. -> going to have to with Tush since she's now got a very long mane.. -> -> However since I know that some of you folks do it with clippers.. -> that's not so bad.. ;) I cheat too. I've found that I can make the manes look pretty much like they've been pulled with thinning shears and they don't look scissored. A neighbour just dropped by this a.m. and asked if I'd be interested in two two year old Fjord mares that someone else brought to my area (Ontario) from Alberta.
