Not too bad, But I think I could protect myself and the horses from the snakes. ALWAYS turn the overdrive off before towing. It isn't made for towing use. You will overheat the transmission in no time towing with it in overdrive. Other than that I alway keep mine in overdrive though. It is much better on gas that way. --- PCBoard (R) v15.21/2 * Origin: Malla the spoiled Norwegian Fjord lives here! Its a good place to get supplies. Are you getting the smoke from the fires too? Aren't they terrible. Because of the heat we've been getting out to the stables before 7 in the mornings on the weekends and we are usually finished cleaning the stalls and riding by 9. During the weekdays we ride around 8 pm if the temperatures are under 100. Its in slow motion most of the time so I have trouble staying on I'm laughing so hard. When he is really scared he sinks about 6 inches under you and freezes. To much water before a hard performance can make a horse sick. We almost lost one at the ranch due to it drinking a lot then working hard so if the horses weren't tied for a long period of time before the performance I can kinda understand that but not the part with the mice. Mice carry so many diseases. Check the community colleges too. Too bad Sacramento is 2 hours away the ranch where I board is scheduled to offer a 9 week college course for about $40 which includes the use of the camp horses. It starts at 9 in the morning and gets out somewhere around 1 pm. I took Beginning English Horsemanship over and over (it supposedly not repeatable) till I got caught then I took Intermediate till after we got our first horse when I first went back to riding and really learned a lot. Not only did I ride but I learned how to clean stalls, tack up, groom, feed, ect. If one of your local community colleges has this course you should consider it. I had a lot of fun too.
