WD> What are your thhoughts and concerns with feeding an WD> insecticide to your "family member of the equestrian WD> variety"? The only feed-through insecticide I've ever used was pulverized diatomaceous earth, which works great if you are the only horseowner around. But if you're not, the flies from other people's horses can visit. I've also heard that it controls worms, but I'd have to see that proven and in writing before I'd buy it! It's non-toxic, and dusting your dogs with it controls fleas and ticks. A little sprinkled on an ant hill kills them off in a day or two. It's so non-toxic it's used as an anti-caking agent in pet foods. Speaking of Arkansas, I *LOVE* my made-in-Arkansas horse trailer! I bought a Bonanza 3 horse slant with a dressing room; in minutes it can be made into a four horse slant WITHOUT a dressing room. I've had more compliments on it; don't know why other trailer manufacturers don't do something similar. It even has lights INSIDE with the horses while you are driving down the road, and it was VERY affordable. * Origin: ElseWhere,602-492-0368 1:114/212,81:301/2,142:150/114 (1:114/212) --- Squish/386 v1.11 * Origin: ElseWhere-(602)492-0368,142:150/114-ISA,81:301/2-OS/2 (1:114/212) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 243 HORSES Ref: DCZ00005 Date: 08/29/96 From: MEG ALFONI Time: 08:13am \/To: WYATT DOOLEY (Read 2 times) Subj: Re: Howdy WD :> to stay on topic We here in Arkansas are having a WD :>problem with massive WD :> horseflies infestation.
